Beauty and Skincare

"Do you have any products that can make my pores look smaller?"

This is one of the most common questions I get when customers are looking at skin care. The short answer is YES, but there's some common myths around pores that I'd like to address first.

Much like gut health, weight loss, and sun damage, the answer is more in depth than a "quick fix product"

Let me explain: we have pores all over our body, except for the soles of our feet and the palms of our hands. Each pore contains a hair follicle and an oil gland...so our pores help our skin stay moisturized and warm!

Unfortunately, we often find that the pores on our face are more noticeable. But why?

Fitness and Nutrition

Does anyone remember that scene from Notting Hill where they are having the dinner party and competing for the last brownie?
Anna Scott, Julia Robert's character is taking her turn and says, "well, I've been on a diet since I was 19, which pretty much means I've been hungry for a decade"
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel that we as women subconsciously think that...that if we aren't eating little enough to feel hungry, we aren't doing it right, and we won't ever lose the weight.
I know that I thought that way for a long time. Eating "smaller portions" meant that I should still be hungry-ish at the end of the meal.

Has this happened to you? You started a new hobby (maybe embroidery?) and have fallen in love with it. In fact, you love it so much that you are developing quite a collection of finished projects!

Your friends, and family have noticed, and love your work. “Wow, you should sell these!” a few of them say.

The daydreaming starts. You start thinking to yourself, What if I did? What would it take to start selling my work? I would have no idea where to start when it comes to pricing and promoting it! Will I lose money?

Thankfully, switching your hobby to a business can be a very lucrative venture, if you keep a few crucial things in mind.
